Graphic Designer (Contractor – 12 Months)

Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF), a global leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS with over 32 years of experience and a presence in 43 countries, is on the lookout for a highly creative GRAPHIC DESIGNER eager to make a positive impact in Jamaica and the Caribbean region.

As a Graphic Designer at AHF Jamaica, you’ll have a pivotal role in envisioning, crafting, and bringing to life visual materials that effectively convey the organization’s mission and messages. This includes dynamic advertising campaigns, engaging social media content, brand identity, and promotional materials. Our ultimate aim? To boost AHF Jamaica’s visibility, strategically position the organization, and enhance communication across diverse audiences.

Our ideal candidate is a proactive professional, unafraid to take the reins on projects and work independently when needed. We highly value a willingness to learn and collaborate, along with the ability to gracefully embrace constructive feedback. Equally important is the adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing captivating graphics for awareness, promotional, and informational campaigns.
• Crafting eye-catching infographics, banners, and social media content.
• Collaborating closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure a cohesive and impactful design strategy.
• Maintaining and updating the organization’s graphic library and brand assets.

📚 Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related fields.
• Mastery of Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.).
• Exceptional writing and spelling skills.
• Strong ability to conceptualize and distill communication ideas.
• Prior knowledge in areas related to HIV, sexual diversity, and Human Rights is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in designing creative content for social media with a solid understanding of digital marketing principles.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.

💼 Contract Type:

12-month contract with a 30-day probationary period.
