You SHOULD get your test done at this time as you have had a HIGH RISK of exposure to HIV and or other STI’s.

You DO NOT need to retest for HIV.

Remember that AHF tests detect antibodies, not the virus as a Viral Load. Even if you are undetectable, in an antibody test your result will still be reactive.

Remember that it is recommended to take a HIV test every 3 to 6 months according to the risk practices if you have (anal, vaginal or oral sex without protection, sharing syringes, etc.)

Continue using condoms and sticking to one faithful uninfected partner

You DO NOT need to take the test at this time, since the probability of acquiring HIV in your sexual practices is very low.

However, you do have a higher probability of acquiring other infections such as Syphilis, Hepatitis, HPV, Herpes, etc.

Remember once you start your sex life to use a barrier method such as condoms, dental dams.
